The following trainer has been with Youth Time on several occasions in the past. As these were all enlightening performances, we are happy he will once again be sharing his experience with the participants at the Youth International Summer School Beijing 2017, this time in his Communicating Across Cultural Diversity Workshop. Meet Hrishabh Sandilya, a Prague-based entrepreneur, academic, and commentator, who according to his own words combines his love for cities, with a passion of social entrepreneurship and teaching politics.
With the Summer School Beijing 2017 just around the corner, we are filled with great excitement and anticipation for what promises to be a most spectacular event. In the build-up to the educational and inspirational series of master classes and workshops, we continue to interview the experts who will be presenting on their specialist topics. One of the main trainers during the Summer School of this year is Mrs. Dorotea Milas, Lecturer at Zagreb School of Business, Croatia. Mrs. Milas research interests are in the fields of philosophy (ethics), religious science, communication and cultural studies. She has participated in national and international scientific and professional conferences and has published several scientific and professional papers.
With the International Summer School Beijing 2017 beginning in less than a week, Youth Time are excited to invite experts and participants from all over the globe to share their knowledge, ideas, and cultural values. One of these experts is Dr. Waleed Sadek, Co-chair of the Sustainable Development Commission at the UN. Dr. Sadek previously worked at the International Leadership Institute in United Nations university, lecturing about the importance of the mediation & conflict resolutions in the Middle East. Now, Dr. Sadek is in the United Kingdom with new vision for sustainability, and one from his important quotes is: We cannot hope to create a sustainable culture, but sustainable souls. Dr. Sadek will be delivering his key note speech on the topic, “How to Identify Your Target Market and the Creative Process” in addition to hosting a workshop under the theme of, “Leadership Traits and their Development”. International Summer School participants with added insight and understanding as to what they can expect from the workshop, in addition to learning how to best prepare for the event.
From July 15th – 20th, Youth Time International Movement in collaboration with the China Soong Ching Ling Foundation hosted its eighth Youth International Summer School. This was to be the third event of its kind held in China. While the previous two had taken place in the capital, Beijing, the destination of choice this time around was one of the world’s most populated city and technologically advanced hub of Shanghai. As has become customary at Youth Time events, participants and experts from different countries, cultures and backgrounds travelled from all over the world to attend. A rich variety of keynotes, masterclasses, case studies and workshops took place, all centered on the event theme, “The Smart Revolution: the Interconnection between City and Society.”
What does IT offer today’s urban citizens?
