Youth Time International Movement’s mission is to give a chance to youth of all nationalities, creeds and genders who wish to make a positive impact both in their society and globally. We achieve this through creating a space for youth from around the world to meet each other, encouraging them to participate in educational & cultural programmes and enrich each other with their thoughts and experiences. But where our efforts help to inspire and motivate hundreds of young people every year, we still look to do more. This is why every year we offer an opportunity for youth to gain direct support in making their positive ideas, projects, innovations, and organisations a reality and prosper further via the:
So, what is the competition?
If you are a part of the global Youth (ages 18-35) then we ask for you to submit your ideas and projects which you believe will make a positive impact to other fellow Youths. Whether this is supporting them in your local community, or perhaps your country, or even the world. If you are selected as a finalist, you will be invited to partake in the week of educational and inspirational activities in Doha, Qatar at our Youth Global Forum at the end of the year, where you will then present your idea to an audience and a panel of judges. The winning project(s) will be rewarded with supportive funding of up to €10,000 to help make your Idea reality.

In addition to all of this, selected participants will also be able to win a funded scholarship to study for a degree or Masters in Indonesia, Jakarta, at IPMI International Business School!

Not everyone can win but we still want to encourage everyone to pursue with their positive impact ideas. To help with this, all submissions will be assessed via specialist consultants to provide advice and expertise on how to improve or develop your idea to be best placed to gain additional support. (subject to volume of submissions)
All submissions will be judged by an expert panel of judges, along with additional public voting on our media platforms and by the audience at the live final.
So, what kind of Ideas or Projects are we looking for?
This years’ Youth Time International Movement Idea Grant competition is focused on
‘Sustainable Education in the transforming digital world’.
We want to welcome any and all innovations, projects, or organisations which look to have Youth at its focus (ages 18-35) and provides education and/or improves the quality or access of education regarding at least one of the following UN sustainable goals:
Quality Education:
Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.


Decent Work and Economic Growth:
Promote sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all.
Reduced Inequalities:
Reduce inequality within and among countries.


Sustainable Cities and Communities:
Make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient, and sustainable.
Responsible Consumption and Production:
Ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns.

What are the conditions, and how do I enter?
The conditions are simple:

You must be aged 18-35
-
You must submit an Idea or Project which meets either of the 2 categories stated.

If you are selected as a finalist, you must attend the Global Forum event to present at the final.

Note: The competition is designed to promote, and is for, new ideas/projects or those in their starting phases. It is not intended for existing established projects seeking increased funding. If you are an established organisation but have a new project / innovation which you are not able to financially support, then these will be considered, but this must be clearly stated in your application.
How to enter:

Complete all sections of the submission form following the ‘I want to Enter’ link below.

Attach your CV to the form.

Attach any additional images, documents, or videos which you feel will aid in explaining your idea to the form.

Create and submit an attached video describing your idea and motivations. Do not worry about quality, the video can be recorded via any device, as long as we can see and hear you, that is all that matters. (If you are selected as a finalist, the video will be released on our media channels for public voting where the scores will contribute to the final result)
Note: All application must be submitted in English and all applicants must be able to speak & understand English to an equivalent C1 level. Official qualifications are not required, however without being able to speak and understand English to an above basic level, you will not be able to present your project at the final, and therefore will not be able to attend.
Is there a fee to enter?
Initial entry is completely free.
If you are selected as a finalist, you will be required to attend the Global Forum at the end of the year in Doha, Qatar, to present to an audience and judging panel. The event will take place at an international location and will consist of 4 days of networking and educational, motivational, and cultural activities with other global youths looking to create a positive future. In addition to attending the event, you will be provided with catering throughout and accommodation (if required). Attendance will require a reduced administration fee of €200 (or €150 without accommodation for local participants), and travel to the event will be at the attendee’s own expense. The fee will be a token contribution to keeping all Youth Time activities going and will only be required to be paid once selected as a finalist.
So not only will you have a chance to win supportive funding of up to €10,000 and/or a funded scholarship or Internship, but you will also be able to join in the educational and motivational activities across 4 days in Doha, Qatar, while meeting and sharing your thoughts and experiences with a global youth empowered to make a positive future.
