Naveen Chaudhary (India)
Naveen is a youth mentor, a full-time mechanical engineer, and a young social leader. He has worked with many multinational companies in India and the UAE. He has published a technical paper on sustainable mass transit design, and has designed an original new mass transit system. Apart from his full-time job, he volunteers for many international NGOs, working in the fields of education, energy, and sustainable development. He is a founder and director of the „Vijaydeep Foundation: NGO in Varanasi, working to provide quality education, sustainable energy, and preventive healthcare. He has participated as a speaker, presenter, and delegate at many international and national conferences including the United Nations, the Commonwealth, etc.
Alina Pishchalnikova (The Netherlands)
Born in Siberia, Alina was ready for challenges since her first breath of cold winter air on February 19th. In 2005, She became the finalist of Future Leaders Exchange Program (FLEX). This program was funded by the U.S. Department of State to cultivate relationships between America and citizens of the former Soviet Union.
After the year in the US ended, her goals unconsciously changed for the better. By studying international relations in Tomsk State University, Russia, She gained the complex vision of the modern world system, its laws and mechanisms.
As for her latest career places, She worked as Recruitment Specialist in PricewaterhouseCoopers and Assistant to the Regional HR Director in Robert Bosch Company in Moscow, Russia. That experience helped her to understand Russian Market and company’s needs. During her university years she has been actively involved in AIESEC, SIFE and other non-profit organizations where she helped with implementations of social projects.
In June 2014 she moved to beautiful country Netherlands. Learned Dutch and passed Staatsexamens Nt2.2 (B2 level). Since October 2015 She is working at Applied Medical in Amersfoort as Branding Coordinator Europe. Every day she supports sales teams with products and organization of small and regional congresses.
Currently she is responsible for Germany, UK, Austria, Switzerland and Nordics (Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark). Another side of her job is to manage marketing and promo budget, internal newsletter and translations.
Besides, part of her responsibility is organization of environmental events such as Volunteer days where team members can contribute back to nature. In her belief being Youth Time ambassador will help her to develop open and critical mindset. She is so excited and interested in this new opportunity!
Alexander Shelton (USA)
Alexander Shelton is a Philanthropreneur, an eco/ social activist, humanitarian, community organizer, political strategist, creative placemaker, and social entrepreneur. Alexander works collaboratively with creatives and social entrepreneurs working towards sustainable solutions to multilayered world problems, by strategizing and championing unsung initiatives and grassroots work of people around the world, Alexander connects resources to empower human development projects and other social initiatives and create funding opportunity for ideas that help to push the world forward.
Aleksandar Dašić (Serbia)
Aleksandar is currently working as a Content Strategy Coordinator in Catena Media, online lead generation company within the iGaming industry with its office located in Belgrade, Serbia. By studying International Relations at the Faculty of Political Sciences of the University of Belgrade, Aleksandar acquired substantial knowledge in this field and also had the opportunity to meet and to get to know different people.
Over the period of more than five years, Aleksandar has gained experience in project management, event organizing, youth activism and youth leadership. He was one of the founders of Youth Office in Municipality Raska, the town where he grew up. Being involved in several NGOs, he was trying to empower and motivate students to step up and take a proactive approach. Furthermore, he is founder and Editor in Chief of website portalmladi.com dedicated to young people, with more than 1 million readers per year, in Serbia. Likewise, he has positively influenced and mentored multiple young adults who showed the great potential and these individuals are currently working in different media and marketing companies.
Passionate about traveling and interested in Social Media platforms, he is an entrepreneur at heart who is always willing to share the latest discoveries with those around him.
Deepika Chaurasia (India)
Deepika is a Corporate Communications professional working in a leading global steel company with the Tata Group, India’s most valuable brand. In her tenure, she has worked across diverse portfolios of Internal Communications, Brand Management, Content Management and Digital Communications and has considerable experience in organising small & large-scale corporate events. She has led internal & external corporate campaigns on the themes of Environment, Sustainability, Safety, CSR & Education apart from introducing new channels of internal communication for shop-floor employees.
Having studied Journalism from University of Delhi and Advertising & Public Relations from Indian Institute of Mass Communication, she has worked in mainline media and publishing houses.
She was selected for ‘Study of the US Institutes for Student Leaders (SUSI)’, a fully-funded exchange programme at University of Virginia, US; focussed on the theme of ‘Global Perspective on Democracy and New Media’, in 2010. She was also selected amongst ten Indian alumni to attend the International Young Alumni Conference at Islamabad in 2013 to engage in dialogue on common issues of South-Asian region.
She co-founded the Toastmaster International Community Club in her region apart from setting up Corporate Toastmasters Clubs at her current organisation. For her love for wildlife, she is a volunteer at WWF and is working on a project to revive the local Zoo.
She takes keen interest in environmental issues and is involved in leading company-wide initiative of making the organisation go single-use plastic free in all its locations and operations.
She enjoys playing badminton, and painting in her leisure time.
Gloria Owusu-Boama (Ghana)
Gloria is a multi-talented woman, well versed in the area of media and communications. She is a final year student of the Ghana Institute of Journalism, majoring in Communication Studies (Media and Public Relations).
Gloria has worked with various media houses as communication specialist, a producer, and radio host.
She is a Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) Alumni and currently the Programs Director at The Pitch Hub. Pitch Hub is a social enterprise funded and supported by Youth Time Movement. It is aimed at equipping young entrepreneurs in Ghana with the soft skills that are needed to build and sustain competitive business.
Gloria is entrepreneurial and passionate about building ideas. She is an avid reader and she loves to travel.
