From the 15th till the 20th of August 2016, Youth Time organized its sixth consecutive Summer School. This year the event was realized in Beijing, in close cooperation with the reputable China Soong Ching Ling Foundation. It was Youth Time’s second Summer School organized outside of Europe and it has become a memorable one. Hosted in spectacular facilities, 30 international and 20 Chinese participants, coming in total from 25 different nations, were offered a rich cultural program and a diverse working schedule.

The deadline for applying for the International Youth Summer School in Beijing, China passed. We received a high number of applications this year. As soon as we are done with the selection process we will inform everyone who appliaed via email. We will not be answering questions related to the selection process in the meantime. Youth Time Summer School combines a very tight study program with fun, creativity and outstanding experience. There is also room for a couple of contests, where participants have the chance to win remarkable prizes. Youth Time has opened up the three-week application period for the International Youth Summer School in Beijing, which is being organized in close cooperation with the China Soong Ching Ling Foundation. As applying for such an event can be a strenuous undertaking, we at Youth Time wish to share with you four tips on how to be more effective in submitting a successful application for this event and thus directly increase your chance of being accepted!

As a result of fruitful meetings between Youth Time and the Soon Ching Ling foundation, at the end of March 2016 in Beijing, both parties have come to agree to join forces in organizing this year’s International Summer School. Accordingly, the event will be held in Beijing from the 15th to the 20th of August. The event will bring together 50 ambitious young people, consisting of students and young professionals. About 20 will come from China, whereas the other 30 come from other countries all over the world.
